Gym Updates

Hello LightHouse ladies! As always, thank you for your support and all the positivity you bring to LightHouse.

Small business is difficult, we are definitely not where we hoped we would be at this point. As we come up on year 3 here in Surf City we need to make some adjustments in an effort to improve business metrics. We want to grow and be able to provide you with this service for many years to come. We want to employ more people and be able to invest in their growth. We want to be able to provide this service to ladies beyond the Surf City area. We really want to keep as many people out of the sick care system as possible, and we can’t currently do that where we are as a business right now.

Updates:

Effective June 1st programming will be for 3 sessions per week and 6 lifts per week. Weightlifting sessions will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday / Saturday. 

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday will be for additional offerings - more on that below.

Weightlifting sessions will be 2 lifts per session.

New Programming Schedule:

  • Monday - Back Squat & Strict Press

  • Wednesday - Bench Press & Back (Row / RDL / ETC)

  • Friday - Deadlift & Variable Lift (Any lift relevant to progress in strength training.)

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday will be available for Personal Training, Advanced Skills Sessions, HYROX Training, and Onboarding new clients.

Personal Training can be both for new clients and current clients looking for more hands on attention.

Advanced Skills Sessions are for our intermediate to advanced athletes looking for even more results, or targeted help for any fitness related goals outside of the gym. Advanced Skills Sessions are 1-on-1 training with video filming and form analysis. Your film review will be accompanied by instructional tips, and points to focus on while in class, or practicing on your own. If you have hit a plateau this is a good option for you to explore. 

HYROX Training will now be offered at LightHouse. In an attempt to expand our market we are becoming a HYROX Training Club. Google HYROX for more details, but to oversimplify it HYROX = conditioning. HYROX will run in 8 week sessions. HYROX training is not just for those who want to participate in a HYROX race. The HYROX training program will be a great way to get some cardio into your fitness routine.

Lastly will be our new pricing structure. All billing will transition to weekly billing. All programs will be billed individually. The programs are:

  • Weightlifting

  • HYROX

  • The Sweat Collective

  • Personal Training / Advanced Skills Sessions

  • Programming (Off-Site Lifting)

  • Online Coaching

Billing will begin to transition on August 1st. Please let us know which membership option(s) you would like before the end of July. Until your renewal date in August your membership is valid for all Weightlifting and HYROX sessions.

Current promotions will be honored until expiration.

3x Week - $40 Week

2x Week - $30 Week

HYROX

1 Time Payment Per Session

8 Sessions (1 Session Per Week) - $175

16 Sessions (2 Sessions Per Week) - $300

The Sweat Collective

Ruck, and select sessions, will continue to be free. Yoga will be a drop-in fee or you can purchase a punch card. Schedule and offerings are subject to change.

Personal Training (No Video Analysis)

4 Sessions - $375

8 Sessions - $650

Advanced Skills Sessions (1 Focus Movement Per Session)

1 Session - $125

3 Sessions - $350

6 Sessions - $700

Off-Site Training (Monthly)

Programming - $30

Programming and Coaching - $175

Pricing and scheduling will be subject to further review in December. All pricing will incur a 4% yearly increase starting in May 2027, matching our yearly rent increase.
