Women’s Weightlifting Seminar

Squat, Push, Pull, come learn basic positioning and movement patterns at LightHouse Women’s Weightlifting Seminar. This one day course will feature mostly hands on learning and time under the bar. We will focus on teaching the basics of the Back Squat, Bench Press, Shoulder Press, and Deadlift.
No prior weightlifting experience is necessary. All ages and ability levels are welcome (minors must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered for seminar).
Outline Overview
8:00 - 10:00 Barbell Back Squat
10:00 - 10:15 Break
10:15 - 11:15 Bench Press
11:15 - 12:15 Shoulder Press
12:15 - 1:15 Lunch (There are multiple lunch options within our plaza)
1:15 - 2:45 Deadlift
2:45 - 4:00 Powerlifting Total

FAQ:
Will I be expected to work out for all 8 hours? Our main focus will be positional work. You will be both the example and the observer at times, you will not be lifting for 8 hours straight!
